Vasco Tuwon Masseh
Activist | Road Safety Advocate | Founder & Executive Director:
Vasco Tuwon Masseh is the Founder and Executive Director of Save Life Liberia, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting road safety and reducing traffic-related deaths and injuries across Liberia. He has a background in Business leadership from Rutgers University, and he is an alumnus of the United States Department of State Mandela Washington Fellowship Program for Young African Leaders. With a deep passion for community development and public safety, Vasco established Save Life Liberia after losing his childhood friend in a car crash at age 17th to address the alarming rise in road crashes, particularly affecting vulnerable populations such as school-children, motorcyclists, and pedestrians. Under his leadership, Save Life Liberia has grown into a nationally recognized voice in road safety advocacy promoting public awareness, driver education, youth engagement, helmet use, volunteers’ development, and leading policy advocacy. Vasco has worked in close collaboration with government institutions, civil society, transport unions, and international partners to influence change for road safety and push for life-saving reforms aimed at fostering a safer, more accountable road culture nationwide. He has guided Save Life Liberia in shaping national discourse around vulnerable road users—especially motorcyclists and pedestrians—by collaborating with government officials, law enforcement, civil society, and international agencies. He has worked with school authorities to establish 75 road safety clubs in schools—-directly benefiting 5000 school-kids, expanded public programs by training 3000 motorcyclists and transport unions, focusing on helmet use, safe driving, and pedestrian awareness—key pillars of the country’s road safety efforts. Under his direction, Save Life Liberia has worked closely with first responders, hospitals, and the Road Safety Secretariat to enhance post-crash care and trauma response training, as well as championing evidence-based decision-making, promoting crash data collection, hotspot identification, and targeted safety measures. He has established collaborations with bodies such as the National Road Safety Secretariat (Ministry of Transport), Liberia National Police, WHO, World Bank partners, and global road safety networks—positioning Save Life Liberia as a pioneer advocate in the global UN Decade of Action for Road Safety.
A respected youth leader and public safety advocate, Vasco brings years of experience in nonprofit leadership, community outreach, public health, safe transportation policy, and risk prevention. His approach combines grassroots mobilization with data-driven strategies to influence behavior, strengthen emergency response systems, and promote safer infrastructure.
Driven by personal commitment to a no-fatalities on the Liberian roads, the vision of “Zero Road Deaths,” Vasco continues to leads with a human-centered approach—believing that sustainable change comes from empowering communities, influencing policies, building resilient systems, and inspiring actions at all levels of society— targeting youth safety (school kids), commercial drivers, and ensuring that road safety becomes a national priority and that every life on Liberia’s roads matters and safe !.

Ajini Wesseh
Administrator| Master is in Public Administration:
Ajini Wesseh serves as Administrator at Save Life Liberia. With a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Tsinghau University, he brings critical skills in organizational management, policy coordination, and operational systems. Ajini plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth daily functioning of the organization, supporting both internal processes and external stakeholder engagement. His experience in administration and volunteer management strengthens Save Life Liberia’s capacity to scale programs and sustain impact.

Stephen Gaye
Graphic Designer | Data Analyst | Program Officer:
Stephen Gaye is a multifaceted professional serving as Program Officer at Save Life Liberia, where he also contributes his expertise in graphic design and data analysis. With a strong commitment to road safety advocacy and community empowerment, Stephen plays a key role in designing, implementing, and evaluating the organization’s programs and campaigns. As a graphic designer, Stephen creates impactful visual materials—ranging from road safety posters and infographics to digital content—that help communicate critical safety messages to diverse audiences. His creative work ensures that Save Life Liberia’s public awareness efforts are both engaging and informative. In his role as a data analyst, Stephen supports evidence-based decision-making by collecting, organizing, and interpreting program data. His analytical skills contribute to effective program monitoring and impact assessment, helping the organization identify trends, evaluate outcomes, and refine strategies. As Program Officer, Stephen is involved in planning and coordinating grassroots activities, school outreach, and stakeholder engagement initiatives. He works directly with volunteers, transport unions, and community members to promote safer road practices and save lives. Stephen’s unique combination of technical, creative, and community-oriented skills makes him a vital member of the Save Life Liberia team, committed to driving change through innovation and action.

Sencee Sawah
Communications Officer & Administrator Bachelor’s in Business and Education:
Sencee Sawah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Education and serves as both Communications Officer and Administrator. She leads the organization’s public communications strategy, media outreach, and social media presence. In addition, Sencee supports administrative operations and volunteer coordination. Her ability to blend communication skills with operational efficiency ensures that Save Life Liberia’s message reaches wider audiences while keeping the organization responsive and well organized.

Maryline Kolleh
Finance Officer & Program Assistant
Maryline Kolleh serves as Finance Officer and Program Assistant at Save Life Liberia. She plays a dual role—managing financial systems and supporting program delivery. Maryline ensures accountability, budget tracking, and transparency in project execution while also assisting with logistics, monitoring, and volunteer support. Her attention to detail and dedication to both finance and fieldwork make her a key asset to the management team.
